Kristina Rutner

Biography

Dr. Rutner has a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Educational Psychology. Dr. Rutner is an adjunct professor for the CSOE Psy.D. Educational Psychology Online Program, and the P.P.S. School Psychology Online Program. Experience in the programs include instructing courses, along with dissertation reader/consultation.

Dr. Rutner has 10 years as a school-based practitioner, as a school psychologist, and an administrator at the district and site level. Dr. Rutner enjoys supporting all school site teams, students, families, and staff through psychoeducation, consultation and collaboration, advocacy, professional development, and community partnership.

Professional Interests

Dr. Rutner’s professional interests include: transition planning for students with disabilities, trauma, school refusal and chronic absenteeism, and social-emotional/behavioral interventions.
