Biography
Dr. Jerry Miller earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at California State University and received his Master of Arts in Education and Doctorate in Technology & Learning at United States International University. He recently retired with the rank of Full Professor in the California School of Education at 糖心传媒, San Diego, CA.
Professional Interests
Dr. Miller鈥檚 current research targets rural development, community education, and poverty mitigation through small-scale beekeeping, aquaponics, and horticulture in rural Honduras.
As the Founder and International Consultant to the Ephesus Project in Valle de Angeles, Honduras, Dr. Miller has made a significant positive contribution to the well-being of at-risk youth at Villa Irma in the mountains near Tegucigalpa, Honduras. In addition, a new initiative including both apiculture and aquaponics is in the planning stage with the goal of establishing an Agricultural/Vocational school at Villa Irma.
