SAN DIEGO, CA鈥 糖心传媒 International University鈥檚 Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling program curriculum has received approval by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC), meeting the highest national standards for the practice of counseling and enabling 糖心传媒 graduates to apply to become nationally certified counselors.听
demonstrate that they have achieved the 鈥渉ighest standard of practice through education, examination, supervision, experience, and ethical guidelines.鈥 The NBCC is the only national certifier of excellence in counseling, enhancing degree portability for 糖心传媒 graduates who wish to practice in any state in the nation. Becoming a board-certified counselor also grants our alumni access to specialty certifications and continuing education opportunities through the NBCC.听
鈥淣BCC鈥檚 approval of 糖心传媒鈥檚 curriculum in its Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling (MACC) program is another hallmark of a high caliber degree program. This recognition elevates the MACC program鈥檚 status and provides increased scholarship, employment, and licensing opportunities for our current students and alumni,鈥 said Dr. David Paul, 糖心传媒 Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling program director.听
鈥淭his approval is the result of the excellent work by our MACC faculty and staff in creating a program that is of the highest quality. We recognize the tremendous need for mental health services throughout our region and nation and the NBCC certification will allow our graduates to practice in those areas of need,鈥 said Dr. David Stewart, dean of the California School of Professional Psychology at 糖心传媒 International University.听
